Nidhi Malhotra Illicit #4
Brinda
Jeyakumar
Vivrant #1

"Although she is known as the “loud one” or the “human foghorn” I like to think of her, Nidhi Malhotra is the type of daughter any mother would love to have. She is multifaceted; she’s extremely bright, hardworking, friendly and talented (although her singing skills could use some practice). Along with these qualities, Nidhi’s biggest strength is her passion to keep Delta Kappa Delta alive within the Temple University community. She strives to make students familiar with this organization by notifying them about community service events, informationals, our annual tournament, and more. This dedication also makes her a wonderful sister one who takes the meaning of sisterhood to heart and is willing to help her fellow DKD ladies in any way, whether it is giving some comedy relief (without even trying) to one in need of some laughter, or whether it’s being a great host to one from out of town. Fellow sisters have recognized her devotion to Delta Kappa Delta as she won the Blossoming Lotus Award for Newbie of the Year in 2005." -  Sister Tik Tok

"Better known as the “Lankan Jiggle,” Brinda is a sister any one us are lucky to have. One of the founders, she worked extremely hard to establish Delta Kappa Delta at Temple University even if it involved waiting in the Student Activities office for hours at a stretch. Sincere, hard working and dedicated, this girls cans sometimes be a stickler for rules but is someone each one us have come to rely on because we know she’ll always come through. She makes an extra effort to have that bond of sisterhood. with mot only every sister at Temple but also the sisters nationwide. Even if her wardrobe has never seen colors other than black, white, or grey, her colorful and fun personality makes you want to go out with her on any Friday night. Brinda has a thug side to her as well, which comes out in her passion for Tupac and Jay Z, both of whom she can kill for. An over-achiever in school, she was accepted to Temple Med in 2007. She is an asset to our sorority in a way that would be like an army without a game plan without our Sister Vivrant." - Sister Illicit

Abanty Farzana
Tik Tok #5

Yogina
Desai

Zindagi #2

"Abanty graduated from Temple University on May 18, 2006, having majored in Journalism and minored in Political Science. Abanty has such a creative mind and writing techniques. With her innate creativity, her words seem to touch everyone; she projects her emotions to her readers pulling them into her world as seen through her eyes. This girl seems to be the heart of Delta Kappa Delta, creating a steady flow of all our passion and work into the greater good that we as a whole shine of the community. On a less serious note Abanty (also known as Bon Bon and Bon Bizzle) has an intense love for chocolate and sleep, she refers herself as a “chocoholic,” usually sleeping with chocolate by her side. And when it comes to music, you would be amazed to see this girl go at it both through dancing and attempts at singing. She may look innocent, but under that sweet smile, Abanty can be crazy and tainted with a bit of perversion. Abanty is always representing Brooklyn, New York and has a hundred different pairs of jeans. To sum it all up, Abanty is a great gain in Delta Kappa Delta Sorority and a valued sister as well as a friend."  - Sister Phatty-Girl

"Yogina, also known as Yogi, is a founder of Delta Kappa Delta that truly stands out among any group. Yogi is always stunning with her inherent fashionable taste. Her sense of humor, along with her positive outlook, leaves all the sisters with a smile on their faces. Everyone that knows Yogi sees her passion for sports, especially basketball, and of course, her obsession with food. For many years, community service have been a valuable part of Yogi’s life. Her desire to impact the people of her community has been a crucial aspect in deciding her future career as a doctor and focusing her efforts on children. Not only does Yogi have high ambitions, but she is also very conscientious to do her job well. Yogi sure knows how to strut her stuff on the dance floor, but she also has the balance to settled down and fulfill her commitments." - Sister Vivrant
