Delta Kappa Delta Sorority, Incorporated, was founded at Texas A&M University on October 1st, 1999. We strive to spread the awareness of and prevent child abuse throughout the community while educating ourselves and others about the Indian sub-continental culture.

"Arlene refers to herself as the "Baby of the Baby." The second "baby" referring to me! Arlene raised in NY recently moved to Georgia. She came to Temple University as a freshmen and was already interested in doing something in her college years. I was her Recruitment Association Chair along with Asha Patel (Sister ReLoaded). I remember before recruitment, me and Asha were expecting a line of like 20 associates (we were a little too excited to be R/As), but we ended up with only one associate! Arlene was interested in DKD even before recruitment began. Arlene turned out to an amazing associate, and me and Asha were sure she would have made the other girls look bad if we had other associates. Arlene is sweet, smart, and so much fun to be around. She is one of the most hardworking girls I know, and I am so proud to call her my baby. Arlene won the President of the Year and Blossoming Lotus Award in 2011 at National Conference. Seems like she's already folliowing in my footsteps! Arlene will always be my one and only baby." - Sister sHawTy
