Aswathy Thomas
Moksha #24
"Aswathy is one of the few free-spirited human beings I have met in my life. No matter what problems she may be facing or circumstances she is in, she will never let it bring her down or ruin her day. She looks at problems from a different perspective, finding the positive in it, rather than the negative. If she has her mind set on a goal, she will strive till it's fulfilled to the fullest. Being the youngest one in the Epsilon class, she acted the most mature out of all of us--sometimes too mature making me look like the immature one. During association, she was given the nickname "phonebook", because she knew everyone due to her magnetic personality, which is one of the many qualities I love about her. Her passion, dedication and perseverance make her an admired asset to our sisterhood. I am proud to call Sister Moksha one of my sisters." - Sister Shakti
Jovilin Joe
Mantra #23
"It is difficult to know where to start when writing about Jovilin because there are so many things about her that make her an amazing person. The best thing about her is the fact that she is so wholesome and genuine. You know that whenever she is listening to you she is actually listening. Jovi (Jovilin) is not afraid to be herself, even when she admits to liking kid stuff. There is a lot about her that people do not get to know within the first couple seconds of meeting her, but after a few days or so you begin to realize what makes her such a loving, caring, and all great person. The thing that makes Sister Mantra stand out is her heart, she is not there to see you fail, but to help you stand up when you have failed. Even though she has really bad come backs and gives you the silent treatment, her childish nature makes her incredibly pure. So sister Mantra thanks for everything that you have shared with me and the other girls, we could not have made it without you. Lastly, Jovi I truly could not have made it without your support. You will always be my TWIN!" - Sister iZZat
Betsy John
Shakti #21
"Betsy always jokes about being our chachy because she is older than us. However, it is her true love for each of us and her sense of responsibility and care that makes her the lovable chachy she is. Betsy always has a sense of balance in her life and makes whatever sacrifices necessary to make sure that she gives her all to her family, her friends, her schoolwork, job, and DKD. Betsy is also someone that is never afraid to be herself and this down-to-earth personality and immediate honesty makes you feel like you've known her your whole life. She is always willing to lend an ear, and will always be your date for lunch because she loves food! Her deep faith and her huge, loving family contribute to the outstanding individual she has become. From the outside, you see a woman who has great structure and poise. From the inside, you see that it takes great personal sacrifice and a true passion for life and service that allows her to maintain this balance in every aspect of her life." - Sister Mantra
Loma Inamdar
Izzat #22
"To be quite honest, it actually took me a while to understand who Loma really is. While associating I was really touched when she expressed to Betsy, Jovilin, and I that she had gotten so comfortable with us that she was able to be herself. I realized Loma is a person who puts others first. She has been a mother figure to the three of us; giving us a place to sleep, providing food to eat, and always going out of her way to make sure we were happy. Loma loves to cook and feed us. Whenever you go over to her place, she will make sure you are comfortable. Her motherly affection toward us is one of the aspects of association that brought us closer together and her ability to relate to your feelings is what keeps us as one unit. When one truly gets to know Loma, you will see that she tries to be funny with her jokes. Her sad attempts are usually unsuccessful, but she doesn't need to try because her "falling" does all the work for her! During these past few months I have seen many sides of Loma, but it is only now that I can say I know who Sister iZZat is. She is a caring, considerate individual that strives for nothing less than perfection each and every day. Through all the times that we have shared together, we have made each other stronger, and it is with that confidence that I can say that with Loma by your side, you can face any obstacle head on." - Sister Moksha
